The 2025 EC3 & CIB W78 Organizing Committee invites proposals for Technical Workshops to be held in conjunction with the main conference. This is an excellent opportunity for researchers, industry leaders, and practitioners to present cutting-edge technologies, hands-on training, and innovative industrial applications to an engaged audience of professionals and academics.
Workshops can be one hour, two hours, half-day or full-day sessions and should align with the topics of the conference:
- Data Sensing, Acquisition and Analysis
- Data Integration Methods and Digital Twins
- Artificial Intelligence
- Human – Data Interaction
- Product and Process Modelling
- Education, Policy and Standardisation
- Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology
- Virtual and Augmented Reality
- Energy Modelling and Monitoring
- Smart Manufacturing and Robotic Construction
Technical Workshops
Workshops can focus on ongoing research projects, emerging trends, practical applications, standardisation initiatives, technical innovations or advanced research topics within the scope of the conference. We welcome proposals that encourage interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and deeper exploration of specialized subjects.
Workshop Proposal Guidelines
Proposals should be no more than 2 pages and must include:
- Title of the Workshop
- Names, affiliations, and contact information of organizers
- Workshop abstract (max. 500 words)
- List of proposed speakers/panelists (if applicable)
- Intended audience and expected outcomes
- Duration (half-day/full-day)
- Special requirements (if any)
