EC3 annually recognizes outstanding contributions in computing and construction through prestigious awards that honor excellence in research, education, innovation, and professional service within the European built environment community.

Scherer Award

Awarded to an EC3 active or former officer for outstanding service to the computing community in the context of EC3.

Thorpe Medal

Awarded to all authors of a published journal paper in the last 12 months for its outstanding academic contributions to computing in the context of EC3.

Smith Prize

Awarded for outstanding contributions to computing education in the context of EC3.

EC3 Best Paper Award

Awarded to the best paper to be presented at the upcoming EC3 conference.

Board of Directors

The Board is responsible for overall policy and direction of the EC3 and may delegate the responsibility of day-to-day operations to the committees and staff. The board shall have up to twenty (20), but no fewer than seven (7) persons.
